Fire engulfs 30 firecracker shops in central India, sparking panic among locals

In a chaotic scene in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, 30 firecracker shops were reduced to ashes, triggering panic among nearby residents.
The incident took place in Marki Mau of Guna district on October 26.
Visuals showed smoke billowing from the shops, spreading rapidly across the area, creating a life-threatening haze. Locals in large numbers were visibly distressed, watching in shock as the fire seemed relentless. Flames and smoke stretched through the neighborhood, making the scene appear ominous.
According to reports, the fire originated in a single shop around 5:40 p.m., quickly spreading as firecrackers ignited and cascaded to neighboring stores. Amid the chaos, six parked bikes were also engulfed by the flames. Police reported no injuries in the incident.
