Elephants locked in fierce brawl for the second time at southern India forest camp, mahouts struggle to control
In a tense incident in southern India’s Karnataka, Mysuru and Dasara elephants clashed for the second time at a forest camp, causing alarm among the mahouts.
The incident took place at a forest camp and the video went viral on October 23.

Visuals showed one elephant aggressively attacking the other with its trunk and sharp tusks, while the mahouts struggled to regain control of the situation. The clash stirred concern among those at the scene.

According to reports, this was not the first time the elephants had a conflict. A similar brawl between the 43-year-old Dhananjaya and 26-year-old Kanjan had taken place in September at the Mysore Palace. During that encounter, one elephant chased the other near the palace’s Eastern Gate, alarming onlookers and raising concerns about the safety of both the elephants and the people nearby.
