Fire breaks out at rail coaching depot in central India, none injured

In a dramatic incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a fire broke out at a coaching depot of the West Central Railway, with employees swiftly extinguishing the blaze.
The incident took place in Jabalpur district on October 21.
Visuals showed a massive blaze engulfing the depot, with people around running in chaos, creating a scene of shock and distress.
According to reports, no casualties or damage to railway property were reported. Employees at the facility acted promptly, managing to extinguish the fire within 15 minutes. Following the incident, a probe has been ordered to investigate the cause of the outbreak, according to WCR Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Harshit Shrivastava. Coaching depots play a vital role as maintenance facilities for trains, and the quick response helped avert a potential disaster.
