The incident took place on Halsahalli Road near the Varthur area of Bengaluru Urban district and the video went viral on October 22.
Visuals showed the woman struggling to rise from the muddy water, her crutches nearby as she fought to get back on her feet. Bystanders were visibly distressed, quickly approaching to offer their assistance. The scene revealed a community rallying to help, highlighting their concern for the woman’s plight.
According to reports, angry motorists criticized civic authorities and the state government for failing to provide proper infrastructure, asserting that taxpayers were being tortured by the neglect of essential services.
