Milk tanker overturns on road in central India, locals rush to collect spilled milk
A milk tanker overturned in central India’s Madhya Pradesh. Following the accident, locals rushed to collect milk from the tanker, filling their containers as the spillage spread.
The incident took place near the entrance gate, one kilometer away from Boda town in Rajgarh district on October 20.
Visuals showed people collecting milk which was leaking from the overturned milk tanker.
According to reports, the tanker was carrying around 15,000 liters of milk, with almost half of it spilling into the nearby fields. However, the remaining milk was quickly collected by local residents who arrived at the scene with containers.
Police were alerted shortly after the incident, and a team, led by Constable Devendra Dangi, arrived to secure the area. They managed to seal the tanker to prevent further milk loss. Traffic, which had been briefly disrupted, has now been restored. The police have started investigating the cause of the accident.
