Training camp in northern India thrown into chaos as farmer unexpectedly collapses

In a tragic incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a 65-year-old farmer collapsed while speaking at a training camp for agriculturists.

The incident took place at the Krishi Bhawan in Ballia district and the video went viral on October 19.

Visuals showed the moment when Jai Prakash Yadav, a farmer from Sariav village, began to feel dizzy while sharing his experiences with fellow farmers about successful lemon cultivation. As he fell towards the chair of the person next to him, the attendees rushed to help, lifting him up immediately.

According to reports, he was quickly transported to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. Initial assessments suggest that he suffered a heart attack. Yadav, who had been honored by Governor Anandiben Patel six months prior, was actively engaged in motivating other farmers during the session, sharing insights from his three-acre farm. The sudden nature of the incident left many in shock as they witnessed the event unfold.
