In a tense situation unfolding in eastern India’s Odisha, a girl locked her lover in a steel box as soon as her family returned home, leading to a chaotic scene.

The incident took place in Shukruli block of Mayurbhanj district of Bhubaneswar city on July 27, 2021 however the video has been going viral since October 17.

Visuals showed the girl locking the steel briefcase. While being recorded, the girl asked the person filming why they were making the video. Ignoring the pleas of the man and women present, she eventually opened the lock, revealing her lover, drenched in sweat, emerging from the box. The man filming rushed toward him, intending to attack, but the girl stood firmly in his defense.

According to reports, the lover had visited his girlfriend’s house, and as soon as her family arrived, she took the drastic step of hiding him in the box. The details surrounding the event are still unclear.
