Several officials left injured after CRPF vehicle falls into gorge in northern India

In a tragic accident, more than 10 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnels were left injured after a CRPF vehicle while travelling fell into a gorge in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident took place in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on October 17.

Visuals showed a few locals and the CRPF officials near the damaged vehicle.

According to reports, a CRPF vehicle traveling from Yousmarg to Pakhar Pora skidded off the road in the Khaigam area and fell into a gorge. Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene, and the injured personnel were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and more details are anticipated to be released soon.
