A significant fire erupted in the basement parking area of a residential society in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, leading to the destruction of multiple vehicles and injuries to a maintenance staff member.
The incident took place at Fusion Homes Society, which is located in Greater Noida West on October 15.
Visuals showed in the basement parking area of Fusion Homes Society, a terrifying blaze was raging. Flames leapt high into the air, creating an intense glow that illuminated the dimly lit space. Thick smoke billowed upward, obscuring visibility and filling the air with a choking scent of burning materials.
According to reports, eyewitnesses stated that as soon as the fire started, it quickly spread, engulfing two motorcycles and damaging three cars.
Residents quickly alerted the maintenance team, but by the time they arrived, the flames had intensified. Despite their efforts, two motorcycles were completely burned, and two of the cars suffered severe damage, with one car catching fire at the front and the tires of the other two vehicles burning.
The situation caused panic among the residents, who rushed to the basement in an attempt to extinguish the flames. Reports indicate that one maintenance worker sustained injuries to his hand during the firefighting efforts. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, which has raised concerns about safety in the area.
