Woman run over in multi-vehicle accident in southern India, traffic police launch investigation

In a tragic incident in southern India’s Karnataka, a 28-year-old woman riding her scooter was killed in a multi-vehicle collision.

The incident took place near Ullal Lake of Bengaluru City on October 8.

Visuals showed the moment her two-wheeler collided with a bus, causing her to fall onto the road. A car trailing closely behind failed to stop in time and ran over her, leading to her immediate death. The scene unfolded amidst heavy traffic, leaving bystanders in shock.

According to reports, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) confirmed that the accident took place at 9.45 a.m. after the bus collided with the woman’s two-wheeler. The Jnanabharathi traffic police quickly responded, transferring the body for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the crash.
