Heart wrenching! Girls on bicycles outrun molestation attempt in northern India
by ShravyaIn a dramatic incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, two girls narrowly escaped an attempted sexual assault while returning home on their bicycles.
The incident took place in Deoria district on October 4.
Visuals showed four men waiting beside their motorcycle for the girls to pass. One of the men attempted to grab one of the girls, who quickly got off her bicycle, screaming and running ahead on the empty road. Her friend, in a desperate attempt to save herself, plunged into a nearby field with her bicycle. Alarmed by their screams, all the men fled the scene.
According to reports, Deoria police responded to the video circulating on social media and stated that a case had been registered. The police assured that the accused would be arrested soon.
