Chilling moment car collides with bus in southern India

A chilling moment was caught on the dash cam of a bus which was involved in a head-on collision with a bus in southern India’s Karnataka.
This incident happened near the Kollegal-T Narasipura main road in Kuruburu village, Mysuru district on May 29, said police.
The bus’ dash cam recorded the chilling moment when the speeding car rammed straight into it. The wrecked bus was knocked aside towards the side of the road as a result of this accident. According to a report, at least 10 passengers were said to have died in this accident. Out of these 10, two were children. Three others were injured in this accident. The police stated that the injured were rushed to the Chamarajanagar Hospital where one of them is said to be in a serious condition. The injured have been identified as Janardhan (45), Shashikumar (24) and Puneeth (4). The police have begun investigation into this incident and a case has also been registered.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed condolences towards the victims of this accident and announced Rs 2 lakh ($2417.61) as compensation for the families of the deceased.
“Disturbed by the unfortunate accident near T Narasipura of Mysuru district that killed 10 innocent people, Rs 2 lakh compensation shall be provided to the families of the deceased from CM relief fund. I have directed the concerned officials to ensure proper treatment for the injured. Those who died were in the SUV and they were headed towards Mysuru after visiting Male Mahadeshwara when this accident happened.
The police have said that the car may have lost control which led to this accident. The deceased have been identified as Manjunatha (35), Poornima (30), Pavan (10) Karthik (8), Sandeep (24) Sujatha (40), Kotresh (45); Gayathri (35), Shravya (3) and Aditya, the driver of the car.
