A mini pickup van overturned on a Highway in southern India’s Kerala. The driver, miraculously, sustained only minor injuries in the accident.

The incident took place at North Karassery, Madampuram curve, near Mukkam on the Edavanna-Koyilandy State Highway in Kozhikode district on October 2.

Visuals showed as the mini truck approached a sharp turn on the road, it lost balance, swayed uncontrollably, and suddenly toppled over, crashing onto its side with a loud thud.

The incident occurred around 7 AM at the dangerous curve. The van was en route from Areekode to Mukkam when the driver lost control at the sharp bend, causing the vehicle to flip over.

Fortunately, the driver only suffered minor injuries and was able to escape the wreck with no major harm. Local authorities were alerted immediately, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. The narrow and winding nature of the road has been a frequent cause of accidents in the area, prompting locals to call for safety measures.
