Shocking! Two laborers electrocuted while carrying iron ladder in northern India
by Ekta ChaubeyIn a tragic incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, two laborers were electrocuted while carrying an iron ladder that collided with a high-tension wire.
The incident took place in Barsana town of Mathura district on September 30.
Visuals showed two men carrying an iron ladder when it came into contact with a live wire. One of the men was electrocuted on the spot and collapsed, while the other suffered severe burns from the electric shocks.
According to reports, Raju alias Riyazuddin, along with petrol pump owner Nand Kishore Pandey, was carrying the iron ladder when it touched a high-tension electricity line. While Raju died immediately, Pandey sustained serious burns and was rushed to the hospital. Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Triguna Bisen confirmed the details of the accident.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal incident.
