6-foot Indian Rock Python spotted crossing road amid heavy rain in western India

A 6-foot Indian Rock Python was seen crossing a road in western India’s Maharashtra amid heavy rain.

 
The incident took place in the Aarey Forest area in Mumbai on September 24.
Visuals showed the Rock Python slowly crossing the road, moving laboriously through the torrential downpour. The heavy rain created a dramatic atmosphere, emphasizing the snake’s struggle amidst the challenging weather conditions.
 

According to reports several parts of Maharashtra were hit by heavy rain, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a ‘red’ alert for extremely heavy rainfall over two days. Additionally, an ‘orange’ alert was announced for heavy rain in Mumbai, Thane, and Nashik over the next 24 hours.
