Landslide on main road in northern India blocks traffic

The incident took place on Malari Road in Chamoli district and the video went viral on September 23.

The road was completely blocked, with debris scattered across the asphalt, creating a chaotic scene that felt both terrifying and hazardous. The jagged edges of the broken rock contrasted sharply with the lush greenery surrounding it, highlighting the destructive force of nature. Thankfully, at that moment, no one was passing by, sparing them from the potential danger of the landslide. In a dramatic turn of events, a significant portion of a mountain in Chamoli gave way, resulting in a landslide that obstructed Malari Road. Thankfully, the landslide occurred when the road was deserted, preventing any injuries or fatalities.
