Startling! Female college student assaulted by hostel warden in northern India
by Ekta ChaubeyIn a shocking incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a B.Tech student was assaulted by her hostel warden and his associates.
The incident took place at Lavi Girls Hostel located on Azhai Highway in Mathura district on September 17.
Visuals showed two girls attempting to force open a door while those inside were overpowering them, keeping the door shut. More people gathered to assist the girls, while screams from inside the room remained constant.
According to reports, the victim, a third-year B.Tech student at a private university, was attacked while vacating the hostel. The victim stated that hostel in-charge Jaipal, his brother, and warden Ruby locked her inside and assaulted her. Friends of the victim, hearing her screams, managed to rescue her and captured the incident on video, which shows the accused beating the student.
The victim, along with her family, has lodged a complaint at the local police station. The case has gained public attention, and an investigation is underway.
