Close call: Woman narrowly escapes being crushed by car in northern India

A car allegedly driven by a minor boy almost crushed a woman in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

The incident occurred in Saharanpur district on September 15.

Visuals showed the car crashing into the gate of a house, with another car parked nearby. A woman, who was walking ahead, approached the scene to investigate. As she neared the black car, it suddenly lurched forward, striking her and causing her to fall.

 

 

The vehicle continued moving, narrowly missing her as she lay on the ground, with her leg just inches away from the tires. Fortunately, she was not run over.

 

 

According to reports, police responded after the video went viral. In a statement, they clarified that no FIR or complaint had been filed regarding the incident. They added that if a complaint is received, they will take action and investigate the matter.
