Infant abducted from hospital in northern India; CCTV captures suspected woman
A newborn baby was abducted from the SNCU ward of a Hospital in northern India’s Bihar, causing panic among staff.
The incident took place at Begusarai Sadar Hospital in Begusarai district on September 15.
Visuals showed in the SNCU ward, a woman is seen carefully cradling a sleeping newborn baby. She moves slowly, making sure not to draw attention. The baby is wrapped snugly in a blanket, completely unaware of the surroundings. The woman, dressed in simple attire, keeps her face partially hidden, maintaining a calm demeanor as she quietly exits the ward.
In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was stolen from the SNCU (Special Newborn Care Unit) of Begusarai Sadar Hospital on Sunday. The baby, born to Nandni Kumari of Munger district’s Furda village, was placed in the SNCU after delivery on Saturday night. Nandni gave birth to a son around 10:30 PM, and the baby was last seen by his father at 2 PM the next day.
When the father returned around 7 PM to check on the baby, he discovered that the child was missing.
