Reckless driver in northern India intentionally attack dog, poses threat to locals

In a disturbing incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a driver was seen deliberately running over a defenseless animal, sparking outrage among locals.

The incident took place at Sarfabad Peer Chowk, Noida, Sector 73 on September 12.


Visuals showed a man driving a white SUV sped down the street, recklessly hitting a stray dog and fleeing the scene without stopping. The dog, left injured, cried out in pain as it lay on the ground, causing panic and chaos among the people nearby. The atmosphere quickly turned tense as bystanders reacted to the horrific incident.

Last night at around 9 PM, residents of Sarfabad Peer Chowk in Noida’s Sector 73 witnessed a horrific act of cruelty when a driver, in a white SUV with registration number UP16 DU0379, purposefully ran over a helpless animal with the intent to kill. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver did not slow down or attempt to avoid the animal, instead driving over it recklessly.

Locals claim that the same vehicle has been seen speeding through the narrow lanes regularly, putting the safety of both pedestrians and animals at risk.

Angry residents are calling for immediate legal action, demanding that charges be filed under Section 325 for the brutal act. They also insist on the seizure of the vehicle and the cancellation of the driver’s license to prevent future incidents. Authorities have been urged to investigate the case swiftly and take strict action to ensure public safety.
