Cow stranded in well rescued by fire department in northern India
In a dramatic incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a cow was successfully rescued by the fire department after being stranded in a well.
The incident took place in Lalganj town of Raebareli district on September 12.
Visuals showed fire department volunteers working tirelessly, using a rope to pull the cow out of the well. The rope was tied around the cow and the fire brigade officials carefully hoisted the animal to safety. Villagers gathered around, observing as the team worked with precision to save the stranded cow.
Speaking to Newslions, fire officer from Raebareli Fire and Emergency Services, Mr. Gangadhar Mishra stated that a cow had fallen into a well belonging to Mobin Ali, a resident of Asrahi in Lalganj. Villagers initially tried to rescue the cow but failed after multiple attempts. The fire brigade was then called to the scene, and they quickly arrived to execute the rescue operation, successfully saving the cow.
