In a tragic incident, anti-social elements were seen pelting stones at a religious procession that turned violent in northern India’s Rajasthan.

The incident took place in Bharatpur city on May 24.

Visuals showed a situation of chaos in the area. Policemen were also present at the spot where a lot of people had gathered. As per reports, a Hindu religious procession of Lord Parshuram was being carried out when suddenly members of a separate community threw stones at the devotees. The members of both the communities got injured due to the incident.

The police rushed to the spot and tried to mitigate the violence and subsequently detained three for inducing communal violence.
