Crocodile spotted on street causes panic in western India
In a shocking incident in western India’s Gujarat, a 10-foot crocodile was spotted on the streets, causing widespread panic.
The incident took place at Kala Ghoda Bridge in Vadodara district and the video went viral on September 6.
Visuals showed the crocodile wandering on the footpath late at night, with locals capturing the unusual sight on their phones. The locals were seen panicking as they witnessed the crocodile roaming freely in the area.
According to reports, the forest department, along with Jivdaya workers, rushed to the scene and rescued the crocodile after a half-hour struggle. During the rescue operation, traffic was disrupted as curious onlookers gathered around. Eventually, the crocodile was safely captured and taken to the forest office for further care.
