Police station submerges as torrential floods ravage western India

The incident took place in Bharuch district and the video went viral on August 27.
Visuals showed that the police chowki was entirely submerged by the rising floodwaters on a heavily inundated road. While there was a vehicle too which was caught in the relentless currents, was quickly engulfed, leaving onlookers stunned.
According to reports, this incident highlights the dire situation in Gujarat, where continuous downpours have caused rivers to overflow, inundating roads and low-lying areas. With several vehicles and homes affected, the state is grappling with significant damage and disruption. Emergency services are on high alert as the monsoon rains show no signs of letting up.
