In a dramatic incident in India, a female biker named Sunita narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation when her dupatta—a traditional scarf often worn by women—became entangled in her bike’s chain while she was riding.

The incident took place in India and the video went viral on August 21.

Visuals showed how the woman wrapped the long scarf around her neck and head, started the bike and within seconds her dupatta got stuck inside the bike. She stopped immediately and nearby people managed to get her out of the dupatta as she was almost choking.

According to reports, the sudden snag caused the dupatta to tighten around her neck, leaving her struggling to breathe.

Thankfully, a nearby bystander noticed the distressing situation. With great presence of mind and swift action, he rushed to her aid and managed to free the dupatta from the chain, saving Sunita from further harm. His heroic intervention was crucial in preventing what could have been a fatal accident.
