School bus nearly set on fire during nationwide strike in northern India
During a nationwide strike, known as Bharat Bandh, a group of miscreants attempted to set a school bus on fire in northern India’s Bihar.
The incident took place in Gopalganj district on August 21.
Visuals showed a school bus is seen parked in the middle of the road, surrounded by protesters. Flames are visible on the ground near the bus’s rear tire. The bus is filled with children, and it is being alleged that the protesters attempted to set the bus on fire.
According to reports the incident occurred amid ongoing protests that saw disruptions across various parts of the country.

In response to the dangerous situation, local authorities deployed drones to identify the individuals involved in the attempted arson. The police are actively working to track down the suspects using the footage captured by these drones. Fortunately, the fire was quickly controlled, and no injuries were reported. The Bharat Bandh is a form of protest used in India where groups call for a nationwide shutdown to voice their demands or grievances.
