Two sisters hit by car while walking on road in northern India

In northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, two sisters were injured after being struck by a car while returning from court.

The incident took place in the Kotwali Nagar area of Bulandshahr district on August 16.

Visuals showed the car coming in full speed and hitting the two sisters without halting for a second in full swing.

According to reports, the sisters were immediately taken to the hospital, where their condition was reported to be stable and out of danger.

Simran, one of the sisters, had been involved in a legal dispute with her husband and was returning from a court appearance with her sister when the incident occurred. She has accused her brother-in-law of threatening her with an “accident” if she continued to leave the house. Simran also claimed that her husband had pressured her to withdraw the case against him.

The local police, led by SP (Crime) Rakesh Kumar Mishra, have identified the vehicle involved in the accident and are investigating the case.|
