The incident took place in Geetha Nagar, which is located in the Rajanna Siricilla district on August 15.

The peacock was initially elusive. It darted across the open space, looking for an opportunity to escape. As the officials closed in, the peacock seized a chance and bolted a short distance away, causing a flurry of activity. Among the officials, one adeptly managed to intercept the bird. With a swift and precise move, this official successfully captured the peacock. Holding the bird carefully, he mounted his bike, cradling the peacock securely.

 

In Geetha Nagar, Rajanna Siricilla district, a peacock, which is recognized as India’s national bird, became the center of attention after it was reported to be in the area. Forest officials were swiftly notified about the bird’s presence, leading to an immediate response.
