Wild elephant invades residential courtyard in southern India

A wild elephant made an unexpected visit to a residential courtyard in southern India’s Kerala, causing surprise and concern among local residents.

The incident took place in the Peruvanthanam area of Amalagiri on August 14.

Visuals showed at night, a wild elephant wandered out of the jungle and roamed around a residential area. It made its way into the courtyard of a house, where it spent some time exploring. After a while, the elephant left the courtyard and continued its journey.
