Disturbing! Man jumps from rooftop of metro station in northern India

In a tragic incident in northern India’s Delhi, a man jumped from the rooftop of a metro station, leading to his death.

The incident took place at Maharaja Surajmal Metro station in the West Delhi district on August 11.

Visuals showed a man, sitting on the roof of the metro station after climbing the railing. Security personnel were seen holding blankets in an attempt to save him. Bystanders urged him not to jump, but their pleas went unheard. The man eventually jumped, and CISF security personnel managed to catch him in the blanket.

According to reports, the man, named Harish became unconscious due to a head injury and was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where he was announced dead. The incident occurred around 1:03 pm, and the police received information that a man had jumped from the station intending to commit suicide. Harish, who worked with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, did not leave a suicide note. His body was handed over to his family after the postmortem.
