Bus collision leads to fatal assault in southern India

by Ekta ChaubeyIn a recent incident in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh, a tragic altercation ensued between bus drivers following a collision involving two private buses traveling from Bangalore to Vijayawada.
The incident took place near Bangurapalayam area in Chittoor district on July 23.
Visuals showed the distressing scene of a man running and trying to signal the bus driver to stop. Despite his attempts, the bus driver struck him, and the man ended up being dragged underneath the bus.
According to reports, a heated dispute erupted between the drivers of Morning Star Travels and Srikrishna Travels. Sudhakar Raju, the driver for Morning Star Travels, was struck by Srinivasa Rao, the driver from Srikrishna Travels, and dragged for approximately one kilometer.
The impact caused severe mutilation of Sudhakar Raju’s body. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, with more details anticipated to emerge.
