In a startling incident at a school in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a ceiling fan suddenly fell during class, critically injuring a student.

The incident took place in Astha of Sehore district and the incident took place on July 11.

Visuals showed students seated in the classroom as the teacher conducted her lesson. Within seconds, the ceiling fan unexpectedly fell on a student. The teacher immediately rushed to assist the injured student.

According to reports, after the fan suddenly collapsed, the teacher in the classroom promptly sought assistance from another teacher and rushed the injured student out of the room. The student received initial treatment at the school and was then referred to Bhopal for further medical attention. The CCTV footage of the incident quickly spread on social media, drawing widespread attention.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the incident to prevent such occurrences in the future.
