Truck caught fire on road in northern India leaves inmates unharmed

A  truck caught fire on an old highway in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident took place on the Nashri-Batote road in the Nashri area of Ramban district on July 11.

Visuals showed huge flames of fire were coming out of the truck. The fire was so terrible that the entire truck burned down in a short time although the fire brigade did arrive at the scene.

According to reports, fortunately, all individuals inside the truck managed to escape without injuries.

The incident occurred while the truck was en route to Batote. Quick action by the driver and passengers ensured they exited the vehicle safely before the fire could cause any harm.

The Nashri-Batote road, a significant route in the region, was temporarily disrupted as authorities responded to the emergency. Firefighters arrived promptly to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.

Local officials are investigating the cause of the fire, while traffic on the highway has been resumed with cautionary measures in place.

The quick response of the truck’s occupants and emergency services averted what could have been a much more serious situation.
