Shocking! Snake discovered in office in central India, safely released into the wild
A surprising incident caused a stir at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) office in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, when a cobra was found inside the chamber.
The incident took place in Tendukheda city, Narsinghpur district on July 9.
Visuals showed how the snake catcher caught the snake with a lot of difficulty just with a stick and then took it outside, transported it to a big jar container and then released it back into the woods.
The snake was first spotted by an office employee as the SDM’s chamber door was opened around 11 AM.
Upon seeing the cobra, the employee quickly alerted others, leading to a swift evacuation of the office staff who were in a state of panic. The situation escalated as the presence of the highly venomous snake was confirmed.
Arvind Sen, a local snake catcher with experience in handling such situations, was immediately called to the scene. He kept a close watch on the cobra until Sen arrived. The cobra, in defence, spread its hood and hissed aggressively when approached. However, Sen successfully captured the cobra and later released it safely into the forest near Bamhouri.
The employees at the SDM office, located on Damoh Road, resumed their duties with a sigh of relief after the snake was removed. This incident highlights the expertise of Arvind Sen, who has previously captured and relocated numerous snakes, including cobras, ensuring the safety of both the reptiles and the public.
