10 Temple servants injured in religious ceremony in eastern India

During a religious ceremony in eastern India’s Odisha, ten temple servants, known as “servitors,” were injured when the idol of Lord Balabhadra fell.
The incident took place in Puri city on July 9.
Visuals showed the huge idol slipped while being moved, causing injuries to the servitors involved in the ritual.
According to reports, the incident occurred at the renowned Jagannath Temple during preparations for a major festival celebrating the deity. Emergency services quickly responded, and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident to ensure future safety measures.
