According to reports, heavy rains have disrupted Mumbai’s local train services, particularly on the Central Line, causing significant delays. The Meteorological Department has predicted continued heavy rains throughout the week. Mumbai experienced heavy overnight rain, and the IMD has forecast more rain during the day with thunderstorms expected tonight. In Navi Mumbai, local trains are running 15 to 20 minutes late due to heavy rain and waterlogging. The Central Railway line has been completely closed, with waterlogged tracks causing long-distance express trains and local trains to be halted at various points.
