Buffalo rescued from deep well in southern India by fire and rescue team
In a dramatic rescue in southern India’s Kerala, a buffalo that had fallen into a 20-foot-deep well was saved by a dedicated fire and rescue team.
The incident occurred in Wadakkanchery’s Thekkum Kara panchayath, ward 3, Thrissur district on July 5.
Visuals showed using a hose and other equipment, the team successfully lifted the buffalo out of the well without causing any harm to the animal.
Speaking to Newslions, Nidheesh TK, Fire Station Officer mentioned Musthafa, the owner of the buffalo, discovered the animal trapped in the well and alerted local authorities. The rescue operation was led by Station Officer Nidheesh TK, who coordinated the efforts to bring the buffalo to safety.
The rescue operation showcased the team’s quick response and effective handling of a challenging situation.
