Heroic rescue! SDRF rescues youngsters trapped in floods in northern India Uttarakhand
In a recent India in northern India’s Uttarakhand, 10 youngsters were rescued by SDRF who were trapped in flood amidst heavy rainfall.
The incident took place in near Guchupani in Dehradun district on July 4.
Visuals showed the SDRF braving the strong river currents to help stranded youngsters, using ropes to cross the strong river current with great difficulty.

 

Speaking to Newslions, Lalita Negi, SDRF Media Coordinator of Uttarakhand Control Room stated that upon receiving the information, the SDRF rescue team, along with Sub-Inspector Laxmi Rawat from the Sahastradhara post, immediately left for the spot with necessary rescue equipment.
With the swift action and bravery of SDRF, all the stranded individuals were rescued safely.
According to reports, heavy rains in Uttarakhand have caused rivers and streams to overflow. In response, SDRF and CRPF personnel are actively involved in relief and rescue operations.
According to officials, the details of the rescued individuals are as follows: People rescued from Dehradun include Naveen Semwal, 32 years, Ashish Kumar, 32 years, and Sabir, 35 years. Those rescued from Tehri Garhwal are Rajpal Singh, 31 years, and Manoj Singh, 35 years. Individuals rescued from Bulandshahr district are Mukesh Kumar, 33 years, Prince Saini, 28 years, Shashank Saini, 23 years, Ankit Saini, 26 years, and Aman Saini, 19 years.
