In a shocking incident, a woman doctor in northern India’s Bihar severed her boyfriend’s penis after he refused to marry her. 

The incident took place in Saran district and the video went viral on July 3.

Visuals showed the boyfriend, whose penis was cut, being taken away by the police along with the woman. The woman was crying and expressing her worries and frustrations about her boyfriend, explaining how he had been postponing their wedding for a long time and always avoided commitment. This time, her frustration and disappointment reached a breaking point, leading her to take the drastic action of cutting off his penis.

The victim, a ward councillor in Mathura Block, had been in a relationship with the doctor for the past five years.

According to reports, the doctor had repeatedly asked the councillor to marry her, but he refused. Desperate to formalise their relationship, the doctor took drastic action. She was ready to register their marriage, but the councillor’s refusal led to the violent act.

The incident has caused widespread shock and is currently under police investigation. The condition of the victim is unknown, and the authorities are handling the case with utmost seriousness.
