Horrendous gas cylinder explosion takes place in central India
A tragic incident took place in central India’s Madhya Pradesh where a gas cylinder exploded in a building.
The incident took place in Chhatrachhaya Colony of Pithampur in Dhar district on June 25.
Visuals showed locals standing at a distance from the building as thick black smoke billowed out from the building. Suddenly, another cylinder exploded with a deafening roar. Chaos erupted as people and a street cow sprinted in panic, desperately seeking safety. The scene was frantic, with distressed locals fleeing towards a safe direction. Their faces were marked by fear and confusion.
According to reports, the building caught fire due to the sparks from the explosion. Due to which 5 gas cylinders exploded one after the other. It was fortunate that everyone came out of the building in time, due to which there was no loss of life.Upon information being received, 5 fire fighter vehicles of private companies and 10 tankers of the municipality reached the spot.

Allegedly, the fire was brought under control after half an hour of effort. However, two shops and a motorcycle in the building were burnt in the accident.

According to officials, Chief Municipality Officer Nishikant Shukla stated that the work of filling the gas tank illegally was being done in one of the houses of the building during which the accident took place. He said that after investigation in the matter, action will be taken as per rules.

Reports disclose that there was no loss of life as everyone came out of the building on time, due to which there was no loss of life.
