A tragic incident took place in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh where a woman was assaulted by a group of masked men.

The incident took place in KDP Society Grand Savannah Society in Raj Nagar Extension in Ghaziabad on June 23.

Visuals revealed the distressing scene of women with covered faces attempting to flee as a group of masked men attacked them. During the assault, one woman was thrown into a drain. Later, a few men assisted her in getting out.

According to reports, these women came from outside and were forcing the dogs to feed inside the society who were sent back by the guard. These stray dogs had reportedly posed danger to the members of society and the residents became concerned about their safety.

According to officials, the residents of KDP Grand Savanna in Ghaziabad protested against the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) after a stray dog attacked a sanitation worker on Friday morning. The residents blamed the AOA for not handling the stray dog problem properly and called for immediate action to keep them safe.

Reportedly, some dogs have been taken away by the corporation team. Despite this, some individuals remain intent on coercion. Security at the gate has been tightened, with entry denied without proper checks.
