Fisherman rescues couple attempting suicide twice and then slaps the young man in northern India

In a dramatic and heroic rescue, a fisherman in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, saved a young couple attempting to drown themselves in the Gomti River.

The incident took place near Golaghat under the Nagar Kotwali jurisdiction, Sultanpur district on June 15.

Visuals showed after getting saved the man was getting slapped by the fisherman continuously after being saved and the woman was made to sit as she was experiencing trouble in breathing.

 

 

 

According to reports, this was the second suicide attempt by the couple in two days.

 

 

 

The courageous fisherman intervened just in time, pulling the distressed pair from the river. In a moment of frustration after ensuring their safety, the fisherman was seen slapping the young man.
