Narendra Modi has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for an unprecedented third consecutive term in northern India’s Delhi

The incident took place in Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on June 9.

Visuals showed the oath-taking ceremony by Narendra Modi, takes place in New Delhi, marking a historic moment in Indian politics.

Prior to the ceremony, PM Modi engaged with prospective members of the Council of Ministers at his residence, indicating the formation of the new government.

In a gesture of respect, PM Modi paid homage to the country’s martyrs at the National War Memorial earlier in the day, underscoring the significance of India’s rich military history and the sacrifices made by its armed forces.

This development follows the recent announcement of the results of India’s 18th Lok Sabha elections, wherein the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by PM Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), secured a majority. Despite a strong showing by the opposition INDIA bloc, which won 234 seats, the NDA’s victory ensured the continuation of PM Modi’s leadership.

PM Modi’s reelection for a third term signifies the enduring popularity and influence of his leadership among the Indian electorate. As he assumes office once again, all eyes are on the new government’s agenda and policies, which are expected to shape India’s trajectory in the coming years.
