BSF soldiers bake fryums on scorching sand as temperature hits 47 degrees in northern India

The incident took place at the India-Pakistan border in Bikaner and the video went viral on May 22.
Visuals showed amidst scorching heat and blistering sun, a soldier on duty pressed papad into the hot sand. After a few moments, the intense heat causes the papad to sizzle and cook right there in the sand, exemplifying the resilience of our armed forces in the face of extreme conditions.
As the nation grapples with severe heat waves, with temperatures surpassing 44 degrees Celsius in several regions, striking footage has emerged from Bikaner, Rajasthan, portraying the intensity of the heatwave gripping the region.
Bikaner, known as the hottest city in the state, is experiencing unprecedented heat, pushing residents to seek relief through air conditioning and coolers. However, amidst these challenging circumstances, our soldiers stand vigilant along the sandy terrain of the border, braving the scorching heat day and night to ensure our safety.
