Massive fire erupts in northern India, thick smoke clouds the area

A significant fire broke out in a commercial complex in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh sending plumes of thick smoke into the sky and causing widespread concern among local residents.
The incident took place in Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad on May 18.
Visuals showed how the fumes engulfed the whole complex and there was panic around the area.
The blaze, which started in the early hours, rapidly engulfed several sections of the complex, leading to an urgent response from the fire department. Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene and worked tirelessly to contain the flames.
Initial reports suggest that the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit, but authorities are still investigating the exact cause. As of now, there are no reports of injuries, but several shops and offices within the complex have suffered significant damage.
The fire department is continuing their efforts to fully extinguish the fire and assess the structural integrity of the affected buildings.
