8-foot python rescued in western India, released into natural habitat
An 8-foot-long python caused a stir when it entered in western India’s Maharashtra. Wildlife experts were called to the scene, where they successfully rescued the reptile and safely released it back into its natural habitat.
The incident took place at Belapur Police Station which is located in CBD Belapur in Navi Mumbai on September 7.
Visuals showed in a police station, there was a very large snake hidden behind a table. A snake expert was trying to lift the massive snake, but he was struggling due to its heavy weight. The scene showed the expert carefully maneuvering around the table, trying to get a good grip on the snake without causing it distress. The snake, coiled and tense, was partially visible from behind the table, its body thick and imposing, making the rescue operation challenging and tense.
In an unusual incident in Navi Mumbai, an 8-foot-long python was discovered on the premises of Belapur Police Station. The sight of the massive reptile startled police personnel, who immediately contacted Swapnil Sanjay Satam, a snake rescuer associated with the Rehabilitation Foundation.
Upon receiving the call, Satam swiftly arrived at the police station, equipped with the necessary tools to capture the python safely. The rescue operation was carried out carefully to ensure the safety of both the python and the people present at the location. After some calculated moves, the experienced snake rescuer successfully captured the python, which was then safely transported away from the bustling city environment.
The python was later released back into its natural habitat, away from the urban areas, ensuring the reptile could return to its ecosystem unharmed. The swift response by the police and the professional handling of the situation by the snake rescuer earned appreciation from the public, who witnessed the video of the rescue operation circulating on social media.
