25 students hospitalized after food poisoning incident at Private School in southern India
In a distressing incident at a School in southern India’s Telangana, 25 students were hospitalized after experiencing severe stomach pain, reportedly linked to their morning meal.
The incident took place at the Oxford Best Available Private School, which is located in Lingotam village, Achampet mandal, in the Nagar Kurnool district of Mahaboobnagar on August 8.
Visuals showed in a distressing scene at the government hospital, several students were seen writhing in pain due to severe stomach aches. Their discomfort was palpable as they clutched their stomachs and grimaced in agony. Medical staff attended to them urgently, providing treatment to alleviate their suffering. The atmosphere was tense, with concerned parents and officials looking on as the students were admitted and given medical care.
25 students were taken to a government hospital after suffering from stomach pain. The students had consumed chapati during their morning tiffin at the Pravet Hostel.
Following the incident, the affected students were promptly transferred to the government hospital where they are currently receiving medical attention. Doctors have reassured us that the condition of the students is stable and have instructed us not to worry. Authorities are investigating the cause of the food poisoning to prevent future occurrences.
