20-year-old man falls from fourth floor in northern India while filming reel
In a tragic incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a 20-year-old identified as Asif lost his life after falling from the fourth floor while filming a slow-motion reel. The young man slipped while opening a protective railing, leading to a fatal fall from the fourth to the third floor.
The incident took place at Johari Plaza in the Sarafa Bazaar, Namak ki Mandi area of Agra and the video went viral on October 20.
Visuals showed Asif, along with his friends, was recording a video in which he was dancing and moving towards them. While performing, he opened a safety railing that was intended to prevent accidents.
Asif lost his balance after unlocking the railing, slipping and plummeting to the ground floor. One of his friends tried to intervene, grasping an iron grill in a desperate attempt to save him, but was unsuccessful.
According to reports, the impact of the fall caused severe trauma to Asif’s head and neck. His friends immediately sought medical assistance, and emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital. However, he was pronounced dead on arrival due to the severity of his injuries. The accident site, including the lift area, was visibly marked by blood from the impact, as captured in additional footage.
This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the dangers associated with unsafe filming practices in high places.
