18-month-old toddler fatally mauled by stray dogs in southern India
Tragedy struck in southern India’s Telangana as an 18-month-old boy succumbed to injuries inflicted by a pack of stray dogs.
The incident took place at Jawahar Nagar in Hyderabad on July 16.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night when the child Vihan ventured out of his home, only to be attacked and dragged by one of the dogs, subsequently bitten by others, leading to severe injuries.
The heartbreaking incident unfolded when the toddler, from Siddipet district, had recently moved with his family to Jawahar Nagar. Initial reports indicate that the child was swiftly taken to a private hospital and later transferred to a state-run facility where he tragically passed away.
A police official from the Jawahar Nagar police station confirmed that a case has been registered based on a complaint filed by the grieving parents.
